Yesterday i got to try out a free sample of Minute Maid -Orange drink which coca cola is launching in Bangalore - must say it tasted like any orange fruit juice and i think I prefer Real from Dabur .
A couple of days ago i tasted Miranda Sorbet - that drink sucks - it has a synthetic flavour and only fool would pay to drink it. 'mujhe agar koi free bhi de to mei nahi piyoo'
So watchout ....the only thing good about this drink is the Miranda sorbet commercial.

traveLLing HoneyMOoners
Yesterday i managed to catch the paid preview of 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt.' - it was sweet, sentimental, funny, musical, value for money . I would recommend it to one and all.
If you like offbeat movies like Monsoon Wedding and Page 3, then you will definitely love to watch HTPL. Leave your brains behind , just carry your senti heart and a funny bone into the movie hall - and lots of popcorn and coke/pepsi /water ......

Hob NoBBing

Here is a bit of C&H - a daily comic strip written and illustrated by Bill Watterson, following the humorous antics of Calvin, an imaginative six-year old boy, and Hobbes, his energetic and sardonic—albeit stuffed—tiger. The strip was syndicated from November 18, 1985 to December 31, 1995. (courtesy Wikipedia).
Some Trivia about C&H
1) Thomas Hobbes. Hobbes was named after the 17th century philosopher, Thomas Hobbes. Watterson has stated this in interviews and in the prologue to one of the "Calvin and Hobbes" books.Bill Watterson named this character after Thomas Hobbes because Hobbes had a very dim view of human nature.
2) Calvin was named after - a sixteenth-century theologian. John Calvin was born in 1509 and died in 1564. He is mostly known for his belief in predestination.
3) Bill Waterson's theme of Calvin's father making Calvin suffer in order to "build character" came from his own father.
4) Watterson's cat Sprite very much inspired the personality and physical features of Hobbes.

To make a MiLLion
Today i read an inspiring article about Sanjeev Bikhchandani, the CEO of www.naukri.com and www.jeevansaathi.com - and how he made his first million bucks. It was pretty inspiring and i think everyone who has even a teenie weenie bit of an entrepreneur inside of him/her should definitely read up on this guy and on how he went about achieving success.
Full Interview with Sanjeev Bikhchandani
And for those who want to visit the actual websites of the company the Sanjeev heads here they are:-
www.naukri.com - this according to me is the number one job portal today and as per the rankings given by www.alexa.com
www.jeevansaathi.com - i am not too sure but i think www.shaadi.com leads the race and jeevansaathi isn't too far behind.
I think they certainly hit a goldmine - Indians will always be looking for jobs and looking to marry - and will want to buy a house/property and this is precisely what Info Edge (Sanjeev's company) is focussing on - a job portal , a marriage portal and the third (called 99 acres) a property portal. Smart Thinking......hmmmm.
Of course the 4th item which works is - education - i guess i'll take my cue from that ... ;-)
